## The Centre for AI-Driven Innovation (CADI) is dedicated to developing and scaling novel artificial intelligence applications across the UK's key productive and industrial sectors.

The Centre will bring together frontier researchers with industry partners and policymakers to unlock innovation and productivity in critical sectors, including Advanced Manufacturing, Clean Energy and Life Sciences.Based at one of the world's leading research universities, CADI brings a distinctive capacity to look beyond the immediate horizon, anticipating where the convergence of AI with quantum computing, engineering biology and other emerging technologies will create new capability thresholds and innovation opportunities over the medium term. Central to this will be tracking how computational science is reshaping foundational disciplines - accelerating molecular and materials discovery through AI-guided simulation, driving breakthroughs in clean energy and advanced manufacturing, and enabling the next generation of autonomous, physically intelligent systems.Through sector-focused AI Policy Innovation Labs and global partnerships, the Centre will address barriers to adoption and unlock productivity gains. It will position the UK as a global leader in applied AI and technology convergence.CADI provides a focal point for national and international communities at the forefront of deploying artificial intelligence to drive economic growth and science and technology-based innovation.
